Proof,
not promises
Fifteen years of stand-alone and hybrid systems across the Northern Rivers and beyond. A sample below — and for any serious enquiry, we connect you with an owner in your region who's happy to talk about theirs.
The “Shouse” — full off-grid, full-time
A whole dwelling, zero grid
A full-time small dwelling running entirely on its own power: 8 kW of solar feeding an 8 kVA inverter and 14.36 kWh of lithium storage. Sized for real daily loads with headroom for the washing machine and the water pump running together — installed as one complete, engineered kit. No connection fee, no daily charge, no retailer. Ever.
Three builds we do every month
Power before the slab
A block quoted a small fortune for poles and wires goes stand-alone instead: generator-backed off-grid power running the site from day one, then the finished home for decades. The connection quote often covers the entire system.
Hybrid with real backup
Solar plus a properly sized battery — Sigenergy, Deye or EcoFlow — carrying the evening peak and riding out blackouts. The grid stays connected and mostly ignored, with the wire-cut option engineered in from the start.
Battery retrofit
Panels already on the roof, exports earning cents while the evening draw costs dollars. We add serious storage, rework the switchboard for backup circuits, and the export habit becomes a self-consumption habit.
Talk to an owner, not a brochure
Photos flatter; owners tell the truth. Serious enquiries get connected with a past client in their region — someone running the same kind of system through the same weather, happy to say what it's like two winters in.
